Katanya is a Qatari company established in 2016 by our founder, Pharmacist Dr.Kamilia Abdelwahab. Katanya was the first Qatari company to import authentic Korean skincare products that best suit Arabian skin.

The Founder Story 

I am a pharmacist who spent five years studying the chemicals inside and outside the human body as I was driven by the passion of highlighting the natural beauty of our skin if we took good care of it.

With over ten years of experience traveling and working in many multinational companies, I realized that my real passion is to run my own business in the skincare sector. In 2016, I couldn’t find any skincare businesses that relied on the medical knowledge of the active ingredients found in their products and if they were suitable for different skin types and skin problems. Since I was already using Korean skincare products as they are very affordable and have natural ingredients, I decided to open my own company that sells real K-Beauty products and decided to offer free consultations as well.
